what was that

There are tent cities these days. I haven't seen any personally, but the television publicizes the homeless these days. As if homelessness wasn't an issue before the year 2009.
There were three men once, Beatnick, Drew, and Chase. They were traveling from crystal mining in Hot Springs. They'd run out of gas money on their way back to Florida [[for a Rainbow Gathering]]. They stood on the corner with cardboard signs: "Happy and Hungry" "Traveling, Hungry, Help?" etc. In Arkadelphia. They stood on the corners and effectively panhandled the Tuesday shoppers. I never knew people could find it in theirselves to be so trusting and generous. I'm dwelling on how proud of humanity I'm capable of being.
The men were blessed that Tuesday with cigs, food, and gas monies... And the delay of police officers who were too curious of their whereabouts and background and purpose. Because this country was never free and still isn't and humans are nosy and judgemental.

Spring is on the way, flowers blooming months earlier than I'm used to. It's so hard to hold onto home when I'm blinded by compassion and lust and that evasive emotion love. Soulmate showed me places a few hours away I want to drive in my Sentra.
My Sentra, Tita, is the latest addition to my history of bebes. She's grey, sort of needing a paint job, and a standard. Just my kind of ride.

I don't know why I had to try so hard:

Getting over you was so easy.
